Its shocking what women out there can do once they discover that their husbands cheated on them. Yesterday a women burnt herself about four days ago and died at United Bulawayo Hospitals ( U.B.H), after discovering that her husband was cheating on her.
Source who refused to be identified said, " she always spoke highly of her husband and she always said that he could never cheat on her. I guese she couldn't face the eyes of the public after such embarrassment, that is why she decided to take her life"
The women poured herself and her 1year 8months baby with paraffin, however the husband managed to take the baby away from her before she could light her self and the baby. She was immediately taken to U.B.H were the doctors reported her condition as being critical. She stayed at the hospital for 4day receiving medical attention, unfortunately she could not make it and died yesterday around 2pm.
This incident is just a sample of other similar incidents that have been happening in the city of Bulawayo as most men and women turn to violent measures when they discover that their partners are cheating on them. Recently there was a story reported in the chronicle about Sonny Kuzomunhu Chasi who allegedly raped and killed his pregnant wife after realising that she has been impregnated by another man. Chasi maintained in court that his wife was raped by a gang of four men in front of his eyes and he plead not guilty to the case.
A Nketa 8 woman allegedly stabbed her husband to death using a kitchen knife after accusing him of cheating on her on December last year. The woman, Elizabeth Mbulayi allegedly killed her husband Simbarashe Denhere, 28, in cold blood after he revealed to his family that he had a child out of wedlock. To mention a few incidents that have happened so far within three months from December
The pressure seems to be too much for these married couple when they discover that their partners are cheating. One might ask her/himself what it that even make these people cheat, what is wrong in people's marriages that leads to such incidents?? What is it that can be done to stop these cheating partners from cheating, moreover to help people avoid these violent actions after discovering about the cheating??
I think its not a good way of handling such problems..you take away your life, your partner remains behind probably cheating further. Not worth it,people should turn to God in difficult times, he will handle our battles.
